#PlanWithMe - My #bulletjournal setup for this week. I simplified the layout for the week overview where I listed all weekdays, not drawing a frame around each weekday name, but just drawing lines between the day, in regular pencil if the following day is a workday, in green colourpencil if I don't have to work.
Stuff ON a particular day (which rubbish bin gets emptied, special offers at discounters) gets written into the day, and at the top is a bit of room for to-dos to do "at some point" -
Anybody here like opals? There's a tumblr that posts nothing but photos of opals, or jewellery incorporating them.

First Page is for logging which #FlightRising dragons I bred when, with a few pencilled in already. I put it on the page before the month log spread, because it only takes up one page. Second is the month log, with holidays written in. On the righthand side I prepared for some daily logging (meds, sleep, walked steps), and experimental trackers for stuff I want to do, but probably not daily. (continued) -

We have managed to use up all of the logs that Dr. Nil managed to cut before ignonimiously losing our only axe. This is bad, because I only just discovered that I need to tell Nomal to do *wood burning* to make charcoal to make a new axe just now and now we have no wood to turn into charcoal to make an axe to get more wood.
Perhaps we can dismantle something... #alensazir

I have allocated space in the next level up to be dug out for building a set of individual rooms for the colonists, since we now have a population of almost twenty.
The caravan from the Mountainhome should be leaving soon, our colony is a disorganized mess, and I honestly don't know if we have enough seeds to grow food and drink for the winter. I have no idea why we didn't get any new seeds from our harvesting. They haven't been EATING them... have they?? #alensazir

I discovered I need more pigtail seeds and am frantically trying to get Minkot back over to the depot to try to trade for some and some migrants decide this is the time to arrive.

To my chagrin, the caravan did not have a single axe I could buy. I traded for some other things and will just have to get Nomal to brush off her hitherto unused weapon-making skills to make an axe.

That was a while ago actually - everyone's been busy setting up crafting workshops and digging for new gems.
A trade liason from the Mountainhome showed up with a trade caravan, as well, with some requests for things they especially want. #alensazir

The first wave of migrants included two children, since two of the migrants appear to be a couple and have brought their daughters with them. Checking in with them, I have realized that we have no eating or drinking vessels...
At least we have tables and chairs to eat the food at? Although not enough, apparently.
We really need some merchants to come by so we can buy a new logging axe, since Dr. Nil lost the one we brought within the first week.

We're well into summer now and things have greatly improved! We have a dormitory with beds, a dining hall, our crops are in full swing, and our first wave of migrants have arrived. Even if none have useful skills, that's manual labor to let the rest of the team do the important stuff.

This is not off to an auspicious start. After a week of half the crew frittering away their time before remembering to demarcate places for things to be brought, and our original location for a farming cave being covered in stone instead of clay, and Dr. Nil losing his woodcutting axe, and Alåth sitting and drinking instead of building her dang kitchen...
We have a farm plot laid out, finally, but it's already mid-spring, we'll probably miss all the spring crops. 😒 #dwarffortress #alensazir

i'd forgotten how much i love the spritework in #Lufia2.
Like, not only do the sprites have good work in general, but the other-colors-for-shading thing is just. really good. like, i know other games do it, cause that's how sprites *work*, but something about how it's done in Lufia 2 is just feels *right*
