We have a #network of #honeypots running on our devices and create a dynamic #firewall based on the data.

Story continues: #Turris factory reset (whose button did not work in the UI) followed by 4 hours of finding issues, re-configuring the setup, trying to debug why only some devices aren't getting IPs (still an issue!), finding out why "disable X" in Web UI has no effect, ... until I gave up. 👿
For the working devices, download bandwidth is still measured in kB/s and not in MB/s. 😩
Well, from my personal experience, I certainly can't recommend Turris devices. Especially when they cost so much that you get multiple(!) similar routers for the same money. 😔

What is the go-to wireless router nowadays? Preferably open source, auto updating (or near auto updating), as little enshittification as possible. Going to be used in a small coworking space.
I've used a #turrismox and it's been alright but I'm curious about other options.

Today we released #TurrisOS 7.0! It's been a long time in development and testing, but finally, it is out. It is re-based on top of #OpenWrt 22.03 and this time we are not releasing it to everybody at the same time - it will get rolled out in the following two weeks! A konečně hřeb dnešního podvečera: #turris Modrák
Dokonce si myslím, že jsem ho teď nedávno kvůli bráchovi upgradoval na nový turrisos s btrfs, ale vlastně nevím, jak to dopadlo, takže prostě #rozdavam tak jak je, radši někomu technickému, kdo si s tím případně poradí.
Pro dnešek #jarniuklid přerušuji, ať mě všichni nezabanujete za spam :distros_arch:

@openalt Tohle řeším taky. Vodafone modem mám v bridge modu, za ním #turris router s veřejnou statickou IPv4 a s tunelovanou IPv6 od #HurricaneElectric.
Dospěl jsem k tomu, že turris sám resolvuje DNS přes #kresd, a u ručně udržovaného seznamu adres odebírá IPv6 adresy z odpovědi a potlačuje DNSSEC. -
