(haha made you look, but now you're here...)I still come across people here who don't find loads of engagement - either because they're not following many people or those they are (big follower accounts) post primarily on other platforms and just mirror here, with no real engagement. The result being not a terribly interactive experience, which I assume is a bit disappointing. I value Fedi primarily for its wonderful community, but in order to be part of the community you have to find your peeps. Some of the people I consider core of the community I belong to (ie. people who are consistently active on Fedi and who I regularly enjoy interacting with ('UK version')) are...

Today was looking like a difficult day for our daughter. She had a court hearing regarding access to her children who live with her ex.
It's turned out to be a very good day for her and her children. The hearing went pretty much her way, with her ex making a bit of a fool of himself by all accounts.
The solicitor was worth every penny of her fee.
Daughter was strong and brave - we're proud of her.
Our daughter can put this behind her and move on with her life.

@incitatus Thank you for the summary, as you know I'm personally more interested in issues such as why #AndrewRosindell MP hasn't been allowed in Parliament for a notably long time or why the Church of England have publicly admitted they refuse to implement basic child safeguarding measures that other institutions deem appropriate, both issues with more impact on society than celebrity gossip but the right-wing media and their followers seem to prefer to boost their own choice of "news".
