@jmock I can relate to that, very much. Also, always, swinging back and forth between running stuff on my own (currently, cautiously, digging into #kirbyCMS out of a certain interest) and reconsidering what it means and is all about to live and work on top of infrastructure sustainably and reliably maintained by someone else... specifically given all "self-hosting" on my end, after all, would rely on hardware, operating system, storage, ... maintained by someone else than me.

Also, always, swinging back and forth between running stuff on my own (currently, cautiously, digging into #kirbyCMS out of a certain interest) and reconsidering what it means and is all about to live and work on top of infrastructure sustainably and reliably maintained by someone else... specifically given all "self-hosting" on my end, after all, would rely on hardware, operating system, storage, ... maintained by someone else than me.

Heute fand zum vierten Mal der Website-Workshop mit @jonas_rebmann und @ReneHenrich statt bei dem die Teilnehmenden gelernt haben eine simple Portfolio Website mit @getkirby zu erstellen.
Von Konzept über Entwicklung bis zum Hosting wurden in diesem Crash-Kurs alle Kenntnisse vermittelt, um am Ende selbst als Anfänger:in die eigene Website online stellen zu können.
