Sad to see #HawaiiNewsNow run a lengthy segment on a class of corrections officers that just completed their eight weeks of training. Racial profiling exists in #Hawaii too for sure, and though Native Hawaiians are a minority in Hawai'i they are the most frequently targeted by the police. To highlight corrections officers, especially *on Kamehameha Day* feels offensive, and I'm not Native Hawaiian. Hawaii News Now can do better.

Ugghh... local broadcaster #HawaiiNewsNow's streaming platform includes digital ads not played locally, and these now include an attack ad sponsored by a group ironically called "Facts For Peace." If this group were truly interested in peace they wouldn't be stoking war. BOTH Hamas AND Israel are responsible for this ongoing tragedy, and normal people there like you and me get killed while the politicians blow smoke up everyone's okole.

I found the iPad's glass too slick to comfortably use for drawing, so looked forward to a #Paperlike screen protector. I saw one on someone else's iPad; it had some air bubbles but the texture was nice. I just tried applying Paperlike to my iPad, but the bubbles were out of control. No amount of careful smoothing eliminated them. Lesson learned: if I ever get another #iPad I'll get the one with the nano-texture glass. Or maybe try the #PenMat or Bellemond magnetic screen protector. #tech
