For years I've watched #HawaiiNewsNow broadcasts online, one hour after they air. Watching one hour late allows me to view without all the ads. But for several days HNN's video page has been kinda screwy. Hope this is temporary (related to Crowdstrike maybe?) and their page will have the normal offerings again soon. #Hawaii

Sad to see #HawaiiNewsNow run a lengthy segment on a class of corrections officers that just completed their eight weeks of training. Racial profiling exists in #Hawaii too for sure, and though Native Hawaiians are a minority in Hawai'i they are the most frequently targeted by the police. To highlight corrections officers, especially *on Kamehameha Day* feels offensive, and I'm not Native Hawaiian. Hawaii News Now can do better.

Ugghh... local broadcaster #HawaiiNewsNow's streaming platform includes digital ads not played locally, and these now include an attack ad sponsored by a group ironically called "Facts For Peace." If this group were truly interested in peace they wouldn't be stoking war. BOTH Hamas AND Israel are responsible for this ongoing tragedy, and normal people there like you and me get killed while the politicians blow smoke up everyone's okole.
