me: My dosage is supposed to be 50 but they only had the 60 last month. And both are better for me than zero.

I've been having heart #palpitations the past week, and it only just occurred to me that they started right after I started taking generic #Vyvanse instead of the brand-name stuff. Seems strange to me that I'd get the symptoms with the generic and not the brand-name, but I guess that happens sometimes.
I'm going to try skipping the meds tomorrow and see what happens.

After almost a year of interrupted or unavailable #Adderall I finally have a new psych NP and a new prescription for #Vyvanse and I’m almost in tears imagining actually being able to do my job, manage relationships, !READ! without constant force and terror of failure. I needed to try something new anyways, Adderall effectiveness was reducing after 7+ years, although I’m not looking forward to the month long process to find the right dose again.

Began my day at 5:45am with usual 200mg #Pristiq and commenced #Vyvanse 30mg. Oddly reassured by name of pharmaceutical company, #Takeda. Thank you interest in Japanese history for this irrational positive bias.
I followed this with my standard breakfast of 1 double shot flat white on BonSoy, muesli with fresh apple and BonSoy, then another double shot flat white on BonSoy.
No notable interaction between #SNRI and stimulant medications so far but slightly bitter taste in my mouth; a quick interweb search tells me this is not uncommon for Vyvanse.

Anyone out there using #ADHD meds like
#lisdexamfetamine / #lisdeksamfetamin ?Typically aka #Vyvanse #Aduanz #Elvanse #Volidax #Balidax etc
...but you need a higher dosage compared to what's recommended?
The thing is, my previous Doc (and also ADHD expert) allowed me to exceed the recommended max dose (80mg/day) while testing #Ritalin (#methylphenidate / #metylfenidat) to find what actually worked for me.

video games always do stamina as a resource that stops when it runs out
but my ADHD modifies how it works for me
as long as I don't stop, I can keep using stamina-based actions infinitely, but it goes into the negative
so then when I do stop, it takes longer to recover to the point where I can do anything
my Vyvanse makes me a little better at noticing when to stop, at least
I feel like that might make an interesting game mechanic, tbh
like the berserker that keeps fighting even into negative hit points
an adhd scout that can run non-stop for days, but ends up sleeping for like a week after

Musical Interlude: I'm usually not much for ambient music; the last time I saw an ambient band I found myself wondering how long they were going to take to tune their instruments and start playing something....and yeah, you can guess what I realized after a moment. But this song snuck in under my radar and I like it.
