Ah, OpenWrt: the #Linux OS that bravely ventures where no one asked it to go—into the realm of your #toaster and your #fridge. 🔧✨ With a wiki so labyrinthine, you’ll feel like you’re trapped in a 90s text adventure game. 🕹️📜 Just remember, if you're not an embedded device, you're not invited. 🚫🤖

Did you know that using encrypted DNS (DNS over TLS/HTTPS) can cause a deadlock with Network Time Protocol (NTP) on embedded devices without a battery-backed real-time clock? This is because TLS certificates are only valid within a certain time frame, which requires local time to be correct. To prevent this, consider using a few IP addresses for NTP servers instead of domain names. #DNS #NTP #security #embeddeddevices

So my DIY virtual pet development kit is nearly sold out! Once this design does sell out, I'm going to hold back on restocking until I take a second pass at the design for the next revision of the hardware - I'm going to offer THAT as PCBs only or as an all-parts-included kit!
Get yours today, because I suspect if you don't you won't have a chance again until nearly christmas by the time I get around to ordering everything.

fsm-toolkit v0.8.0 released
A toolkit for finite state machines: DFA, NFA, Moore, Mealy. Compact binary format, visualisation, code generation, TUI editor.
https://github.com/ha1tch/fsm-toolkit/releases/tag/v0.8.0
What's new in 0.8.0
@ TUI editor (fsmedit) with mouse drag, undo/redo, two-column file browser, persistent config.
@ Code generation for C, Rust, and Go/TinyGo. Interactive runner with state history.
@ Analysis and Validation with detection of various malformed patterns, incompleteness, and valid FSMs of the supported types.
@ Native PNG and SVG renderers — no Graphviz dependency. Sugiyama layered layout algorithm. 4× supersampling for crisp output. Graphviz support still available, this is work in progress, matching Graphviz quality reliably will take time.
@ NFA support with powerset simulation, epsilon closure, and NFA→DFA conversion.
@ Formal specification documenting semantic guarantees.
Binaries: Linux, macOS, Windows, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD
