Great, I have people on waitlists on #Tindie
They did pay me, but was hassle, I want it all working smoothly and people confirming that disbursements work before I even remotely consider listing stocks again. The latest communications on that are not encouraging. We'll see.
People need more awareness of #Lectronz somehow. They are way more clued up.

If you are on #tindie, move to #Lectronz now - sell and get paid!
Sell in EU without customers having couriers asking for VAT and fees on delivery as all sorted with IOSS.
Sell in US with duty worked out correctly for PDDP, and again, customers not asked for fees and duty by couriers.

DO IT!
#Lectronz was smaller, but the latest #tindie fiasco has changed that. You can see their own posts of new listings have gone from every few days to many a day. They are getting bigger.
But they do EU IOSS as well.
And they do US tariff as percentage.
And they do postage based on weight.
And they can import products from Tindie.And, importantly, our last weeks sales match what we would have had with Tindie.

Well, @lectronz win here.
Our first ever IOSS shipment to EU (AUSTRIA), Austrian VAT charged at point of sale and no import VAT to pay for end user.
And all fed in to customs declaration on Royal Mail postage.
@tindie was never that slick.
I have it set up so my staff see a list of orders, one click to print postage and it tells Lectronz the shipment tracking all in one. They then pack, label, and done. Slick fulfilment.

It looks a lot like for pre-sale disbursement is we sue #supplyframe, but after sale, who? Does Tindie Inc even exist?
We all need to know as legal action is imminent.
Tell us the exact legal entity that operated Tindie before the sale.

These should be clear on your pay slips.
We need to know who exactly to put on the court papers. And we need to know NOW!

Should have products on @lectronz shortly. Getting first one on, and approved, and then will do all the API integration on it. Planning to move all @tindie stuff over, obviously. No idea if we'd ever trust Tindie to re-list on them or not, maybe one day.
The shipping rate stuff on lectronz is way better. I have been able to fine tune USA rates, and I'll be working through more detailed EU shipping rates soon as well.
It allows us to get really close to shipping at cost price

Catching up with things after nearly 2 weeks of radio silence... real life getting in the way. Quite a Tindie debacle I see, I've toggled on 'Vacation Mode' there as with so much uncertainty and no seller disbursement I feel it's too risky to sell there at the moment.

@concretedog @tindie Yes, #Tindie really was amazing back in the day. It was such a great place to be, and I am sure the success of #RC2014 owes a lot to Tindie. (Well, they earned $27000 in sellers fees from the sales, so I guess we're all square).
Ever since the Siemens buyout and their failure to deal with EU tariffs though, it has lost that magical feel.
I don't know if the new owners can get that back, but judging by the clusterfuck of the last 9 days, I have very little trust in them whoever they are. -
@tindie I know this is hard for you, but you can feed back to management and get answers.
1. I need to move away from #Tindie probably #shopify at this point.
2. I need balance paid by #Tindie or need to sue someone (probably #supplyframe) to get it.If Tindie comes back then maybe, with like daily reimbursements even, we will carry on selling via Tindie, like maybe. But there is ZERO trust now.
To be clear, Tindie *was* good. Way more sane than #Amazon in so many ways.

Good news: I updated my inventory on the #tindie store. #HestiaPi thermostats in stock!
Bad news: #RaspberyPi Zero 2 W boards are not available in the US, and the international stores generally have higher prices, higher taxes (VAT), and more expensive shipping.
I'm going to wait and see if they become available before my current supply is completely sold out.
I thought these days were behind us when I saw stores inventories replenished and purchase limits lifted a while back.

Two 512K ROM / 512K RAM modules for #rc2014 - the upper one is the official design by @rc2014 while the lower one is the very last of its kind sold by RottenSnow on #Tindie three years ago.
Feeding my spleen today as I replaced the 512K ROM / 512K RAM module of #rc2014bbs (until now this has been the red "RottenSnow" design) so all of the modules of the BBS hardware are now the same blue-ish color.
Don't worry though: the red one goes into my workstation as the one I use with that urgently needs a new sets of RAM / ROM sockets due to heavy ROM rotation over the past few years.
