This release just adds new functions so that Bigi has near complete feature parity with gleam/int from stdlib.

A little progress in one of my #Gleam projects: charting the production of our solar panels (each panel individually). The numbers at the top live update thanks to a #Lustre server component, and the chart will eventually also do that. The chart is #BillboardJS.

I was wondering why my social media instance is acting so slow. Turns out my CPU is pegged to 100% due to #Amazon (EC2?) and #Meta/#Facebook IPs absolutely hammering my poor @[email protected] instance, hitting addresses that belong to a copy I have of the QMK firmware.
Some user agents:

Whatever happened to being corteous when crawling??? How is this acceptable? My server is absolutely dying!

I wrote a post about installing #OpenWrt on my #EdgeRouter X, just to share information. The post also has links to IPv6 configurations for the stock firmware, which did not work for me, but might work for others.

Ok, so I installed #OpenWRT on the #EdgeRouter X I talked about yesterday, and… it went great! Had to flash it in two parts but it worked perfect, #IPv6 works out of the box, and my network is up and running again. 💜 And I got a public IP from the ISP so even that worry is gone.
Now I just need to figure out the firewall rules to allow IPv6 traffic to hit my home server (and the server only).

Welp, wasted a whole evening on trying to get #IPv6 to work on my #EdgeRouter X. Maybe I should install #OpenWRT on it... Anyway, turns out my new ISP has their own NAT on IPv4 and that's just great for my #SelfHosting. 🤦♂️ Gotta call them tomorrow and see if I could get a public IP somehow.

Kun laitettiin saunaan valaisimia jotka tyylipäällikkö halusi korkealle, en löytänyt mistään enää perinteisiä halogeenipolttimoita. Joten nerokkaana ihmisenä ostin E14–G9-adapterin ja siihenhän löytyi halogeeneja ihan perus Puuilosta.
No nyt muutama kuukausi myöhemmin ei löydy enää mistään, ja netistä saa tilata joko jämäeriä tai hämyisiltä verkkosivuilta Kiinasta. Eikä kukaan ole vieläkään kehittänyt E14/G9-LED-valoja jotka voi sijoittaa metriä korkeammalle.
Nyt meni nerokkuus ihan hukkaan. :(

Mikäs hitto siinä on että kun on #pihakirppis niin ensimmäiset saapuu tonkimaan jo 50 minuuttia ennen aloitusta kun itse vasta koittaa kantaa tavaraa paikalle. Ensi kerralla laitetaan mellakka-aita eteen ja avataan vasta kellonlyömällä! Muuten kyllä ihmiset tosi mukavia.

Welp. I've been happy with my #Fairphone #FP4 for some time now, but now I've been having the dreaded ghost touch issue where the phone taps on things itself. It happens maybe once every one or two days. Ironically I had it happen when I was reading the long-ass thread about this exact issue on the Fairphone forum. The blue line in the screenshots is Android's "show pointer position" feature.
The consequences for me so far are the pressing of "y" when I'm typing, and activating the 112 emergency calling app from the home screen when I didn't tap it myself. It remains to be seen if this issue grows in severity but for now it's under control.
The worst part is that there is apparently no fix. Fairphone sends users new screens but it keeps reappearing. There are some community fixes where results may vary. There's over 700 posts in the forum thread!
I was hoping to keep this phone for a long time because I hate the amount of e-waste we generate by regularly switching phones. I hope this won't ruin my plan.
