  23. @jocelyn hi Jocelyn, I know you’ve got about a million tips now, so might be a bit overwhelmed! One thing I found was super-useful for getting to know more #knitting and #sewing friends here was to follow a few events too - great posts on #fiberuary #memademay and #fallfinishalong gave me some more ideas about who would be good to follow. All very seasonal, but I have found some fantastic people as a result, hope that you do too

  24. #yarnuary long term knitting goal - turn this pile of wool into the Marie Wallin Honeysuckle cardigan for my mum’s birthday in November!

  25. #yarnuary What do you want to learn/ do this year?

Last year I said I wanted to try brioche and double knitting, then did absolutely nothing about it! So this year I will learn brioche and double knitting (and possibly entrelac, inspired by the recent posts about this)

I have just ordered the wool for my mum’s birthday cardigan (luckily her birthday is in November so I have plenty of time) and I need to re knit my nephew’s Xmas jumper, as age 13 was still too small for his 11 year old self!

  26. Weather is grey and windy so have just finished sewing up a pair of knitted baby joggers, from the same John Lewis pattern book that the bobbly hat pattern is from (reduced to £1.80 in the January Sale!) #yarnuary #knitting @knitting

  27. Hey #WeekendSewingClub ! I totally messed up the top I was trying to make last weekend (mainly due to me not realising that what I needed to do was the burrito method) so I tried again this weekend with a couple of leftover fabrics. Managed to make it work (yay!) - pretty pleased with the look of it until I put it on and saw the unfortunate pattern vs boob placement! Next time will be better #sewing @[email protected] @[email protected]
