I mostly forgot to document anything for #MeMadeMay even though I now have outfits that I've made! Here's the one example I have - Ann Tilley's Magic Pants, Helens Closet's Jackson Tee and the Hitofude cardigan I knit.

I love the pants! They're a red/blue denim that looks fabulous in the sun, and have no buttons or zippers, just a hidden stretchy panel across the stomach. Both comfortable and fancy looking.

Squeaking in a post of the sweater I finished 2 days ago for #MeMadeMay. Wore it out for dinner because it’s always cool enough on the water in Seattle for a sweater. This was the yarn I bought at the April volleyball tournament. Might be the fastest I’ve gone from yarn purchased to finished sweater for me.

We won’t talk about some of the work sweaters I cranked out on a deadline. 😆

Trousers from Big Clothes, Small Clothes and the button front shirt from The Fabric Store.

Oh, right, still me made May. Yesterday was a skirt made from a too big dress i found at the thrift store, and a shirt I made from staking basically two rectangle together. That was one of my very first sewing projects. The fit isn't great, but I really love the deer fabric, so it gets to stay anyway.
Today another early shirt attempt, from an old duvet cover. With darts, so slightly better fit. Also not the best shirt ever, but I like the stripes. The shorts are the Frollein Kluntje from Rabaukowitsch again.

I started this cardigan, Seven Tees by Katrin Schneider, in 2022. It's been with me through 3 homes and is finally blocking.

I had to upsize the arms, because the original pattern was way too small. The yarn is a local rambouillet from Mesta Meadows.

Used an 8 year old video for the underarm stitch pick-up that worked well.

Staying with a friend who let me do laundry. Teal green Dawson Top and chambray blue Chanterelle shorts made from a sheet. These are very comfy, but will require some sort of alteration to keep being worn without falling down. Since they were virtually free to make, they'll be interesting to alter.

Today's me made May is the same as yesterday, so let's do a 100 day project update instead. There no way I'll finish this before the end of the week, but I haven't abandoned it. Progress is slow, but happening. This is the back of the shirt, almost done. Then, onwards to the sleeves.

#MeMadeMay continues although the photos have been few. Today’s look is a linen Moss Jacket with linen Chanterelle shorts and a viscose Dawson Top. Very comfortable when the sun isn’t behind the clouds. Still travelling in the Rockies and having a great time.

@ansate Cheap fabric like used bedsheets is a great way to play with a pattern until you are satisfied. #MeMadeMay is a great way to evaluate what you love more and less about previous makes. I know that I need wide straps for my tops to mostly cover my sports bras.

#MeMadeMay today’s is a #sewhouse7 sauvie sundress. another fine use of the essex linen/cotton blend fabric.
unfortunately also one of those things that is Fine but not Amazing and i should have made it from cheap fabric instead. i need to find a sundress pattern i like better! (suggestions welcome)

Breaking out the old reliable cactus dress for #MeMadeMay today, as the weather finally decided what it's doing and turns out what it's doing is Being Hot.

This is the Peppermint Everyday Dress, a very beginner-friendly option (with pockets!) that I will always recommend to nervous would-be sewists.

the fabric was a gift from a dear friend.
