Finally some FO posts from my Tour Alberta for Cancer sock knitting projects. For this first pair I worked up an old familiar pattern in a lovely purple.

For me, "finished" is, at minimum, ends woven in.

Anything made in stranded colour work improves greatly after wet blocking, as do garments, so that's their 'finishing' for me.

I was embarrassed to admit that my #FallFinishAlong project from last year was still unfinished, so I did a big push to finish up the sleeves this week for #FinishOrFrogAlong

Here she is September 2 and yesterday September 6.

I'm ready for the #FinishOrFrogAlong FKA #FallFinishAlong - the only WIPs on the needles are the languishing ones. I'll probably start a new sock or hat, because neither of the WIPs are good mindless knitting. But I really want those two done, so they will get done! Honest, I mean it! For real this time!

I've also got the end of a spinning project in sight - well, no, wait. I'm almost done with this round of the pink wool, which is half of the pink wool that I bought and only 1/3 of the whole project I have in mind, but look, I'm almost done with this round of the pink wool and that's what counts.

I went to a medieval festival yesterday and now I want to look up knitting patterns for medieval clothes AND I want someone to stop me.

Thankfully the #FallFinishAlong #FallFinishAndFrog month is almost starting... because I should really not buy any more cables as all are in use... "use" - if you know what I mean 😉
