One of the best video player for #Linux is #MPV. It plays every stream, including #YouTube videos, with a simple shell command:
$ mpv [any URL] or a link to a YouTube video.
It also has a great caching system, and there are no weird slowdowns or speed-ups like you get with other programs such as VLC, ffplay or Celluloid.
MPV works on all processors and all systems. #opensource #streaming

And today I found a terminal-based #YouTube client, #ytfzf, and I love it; it's powerful, lightweight, and never freezes. Other commands I've discovered, like #croc, are great too.

In just a few minutes of work, like 20 minutes, it's not perfect; you know it takes hours to make a really good quality model, but I'm impressed.
