Hurray! New Mac mini as my media hub (just music for now) is all set up. Had do dig through old cables and such to find a keyboard and mouse to use. Keyboard was from my Mac Cube! Also had to make a quick run out for an HDMI cable. Just goes to show that sometimes it IS a good idea to hang on to old equipment, and have decent adapters. I also realized I really need to go through those boxes of stuff and re-organize them. #Macintosh #OldComputers #MacCube

re: today's music f'up . . . good news - on another computer I have a working copy of the library with 95+% of the clean-up I've done this summer. Bad-news - on same computer it's lost all connections with 140GB of music files. UGH. There's got to be a simple fix. I hope to gawd there's a simple fix. #Music #Apple #BadDay

oh fcukity fck fck fck. I just got off the phone w/ Apple & it looks like I have a corrupted Music Library. I just spent all of the last weekend cleaning the fcker up. I've spent several weekend this summer "fixing" my music & now it looks like I've lost ALL of that work. ARRGH! Fingers crossed I have a decent copy of a library on another HDD. I really don't want to start from scratch on a collection that's 140GB, mostly ripped from CDs over the last 20 years #Music #BadDay #AppleMusic
