Can anyone recommend a legitimate carbon offset company or organization? Or perhaps your preferred organization to donate to for fighting against the climate crisis?
I don't fly much, but I want to make a concerted effort to do something to offset the damage any time I do have to fly.

It's a bit overwhelming trying to read up on every issue. Thankfully, there's Ballotpedia!
You can look up your state's ballot measures and see a summary including what YES/NO votes would mean and who or what organizations support/oppose each issue.

Turns out, the app doesn't work on Android 10. It works fine on my kid's old Android 12 phone, and I've submitted my 1st #IndoorCO2 reading!

Passing through Wawona in #YosemiteNationalPark, a handwritten sign in the parking lot advertised a "Chinese Laundry Exhibit".
Down a side road in a nondescript building, the exhibit is part of the Yosemite History Center.
It. Was. AMAZING!! Small but well-done and very informative. I'm #ChineseAmerican, born & raised in the USA, and I had NO IDEA #Chinese Americans were a part of Yosemite's history. My heart swelled with pride & I took a zillion photos.

Unfortunately, not only did In-N-Out ADD sesame to their burger buns to avoid having to ensure no cross-contamination with sesame, their CEO made a dangerous statement falsely claiming that the amount of sesame they use is "safe" for people with a #SesameAllergy!! 😠

#Sesame is by far the most difficult #allergen for my family to avoid. 😩 #FoodAllergy
I was thrilled when the #FDA added sesame as a "Top Allergen", requiring it to be included on labels like tree nuts and peanuts.
But instead of making it easier to find safe foods, many companies decided to violate the spirit of the law and either added sesame to products or listed sesame as an ingredient even when not present to avoid instituting safe manufacturing practices.

I'm crushed that #Biobot stopped posting real-time county-level #wastewater data. They were the most consistent & transparent source to show that #CovidIsNotOver. Wish they offered subscriptions, I'd pay!
My local #Massachusetts water authority uses Biobot, will this affect their data too?! They don't cover my county exactly, but they're close.

Seeing some posts about how now is a good time to do things because #wastewater values are "low" nationwide.
Unfortunately, my county didn't get the memo. In my area, #Biobot values are relatively low, but still about 2x the lowest values of summer 2023 & just about the same as peak values of winter 2020-21.
So, forgive me if I just carry on as usual. 😷
(I know viral shedding is higher for latest variants, but I don't think that can account for all of the difference.)
