@rpimag I gave MicroPython a whirl (as CircuitPython doesn't support Bluetooth on the the Pico W) and wrote questionable code that scans BLE for Inkbird ITH-11-B Thermo-Hygrometers every few minutes and relays the data (humidity/temperature/battery level/rssi/MAC address) to my MQTT server over WiFi.
I then have another script which saves the data from MQTT and graphs using RRDtool.

@elektroluder @akrennmair hmm... Ich vergäre meine Obergärigen auch kontrolliert im Kühlschrank mit #InkBird. Einziger Unterschied ist eigentlich, dass es ein bisschen länger dauert, bis ich anstellen kann... Und natürlich, bis das ganze dann fertig ist 🍻

Now that my #homeassistant #Tuya integration is working have been reminded of 'bang-bang' brute force humidity control loop 😄
Seedling tent can climb to over 95% humidity, temps can climb to 35°C+ with the lights on. Solution was #InkBird BT hygrometers, an #ESPHome BT gateway to #homeassistant, then control of a tent exhaust fan (Tuya powerbar) when temp/humidity exceed threshold. That draws less humid/cooler air from basement into tent.
Not as bad as it looks, On every 30mins, Off after 5.
