  1. Playing around with ctcss squelch block analog.ctcss_squelch_ff(self.audio_rate, 131.8, 0.10, 0, 0, False)

It works, but sometimes short cracking noise when there is no carrier with 131.8

The default 0.01 gave continue noise, but 0.11 kills audio even if the carrier is there. Maybe the latter 3 parameters should be adjusted? Wiki block docu is limited.

  4. Moved this to a new Pi Zero 2 headless and ran a test yesterday with some generated nbfm tx python code from a #gnuradio

    Clean carrier on 70cm!

Could not connect an alsa audio device in to have the nb fm modulated...

What a great time to be in the #hamradio hobby!

  5. @funkylab I tried that first and I got #gnuradio to open but it wouldn’t recognize the #hydrasdr. So I backed the install out and built it from source. Still no joy.

  6. Okay. I’m getting segmentation faults when I try to start #gnuradio on #unbuntu #linux. I’m trying to use the #hydrasdr #rfone and I can get #sdrpp to work fine but not #gnuradio. 🤔

  10. 🤩 ongoing work by @dkozel ; join the @gnuradio matrix chat ( #gnuradio:gnuradio.org ; matrix.to/#/#gnuradio:gnuradio ) if you want to discuss things such as getting #gqrx 's waterfall plot usable as separate visualization.

  11. @tom Glad you are enjoying the #CubeSatSim! I’m not aware of a general BPSK decoder, although I’m sure you could make one with #GnuRadio. I have an experimental BPSK decoder for the FunCube mode which runs on the Raspberry Pi with the FCD FunCube Dongle if you want to try that out. To try the FunCube mode on the CubeSatSim you’d need to update the software to v2.1. See CubeSatSim.org/code for details.
