  1. That pressure sensing capsule found in most disposable #vape pens can very easily be turned into a #touchSensitive switch that is capable of switching currents high enough to activate small relays and solenoids

Simply slice the top off, exposing the edges of the inner and outer conductive cylindrical walls. Bridging the two walls with something no more conductive than human skin is sufficient to trigger it

  5. This is the most deformed lithium polymer battery I've found on the street that still had a significant charge (3.5V)

It used to be cylindrical but now has a 11mm x 14mm cross section

I won't bother trying to discharge the even more damaged one also found on the street today. I intend to dump both in the battery recycling bins at Asda tomorrow.

I tried the trick with the PC817 . IMSAI Guy only showed how the voltage of the transistor base affects the speed of the falling edge. But notice how the rising edge remains largely unaffected.

By comparison, the common mode NPN amplifier with 150 ohm resistor across base-emitter, yielded noticeably sharper rising/falling edges

  16. Testing the switching characteristics of cheapo PC817 optocouplers from Ebay.
555 timer astable is generating a 37kHz square wave test input.
Rise/fall time is way out of spec for use in . But the recommended component, 6N138, is much more expensive.

Instead have the drive the base of an NPN and by adding appropriate resistors, I get much improved switching speeds. Is this good enough for a MIDI input circuit?

The extraction of clean training data without the toxicity was very likely done by lots of low paid humans in the global gig economy. So there's still an ethical debate to be had there.

But once given cleaned up human generated training examples, the does provide a filtered detoxified simulation of a Stackoverflow-like back-and-forth discussion of various source code idioms.

This is why I'm hopeful that might one day be an ethical alternative to
