The clever thing from #Trump's point of view about starting a war in Iran is that when he gets bored of it, he can end it, and then he can claim that he's ended yet another war.
I reckon he's a shoe-in for the 2026 FIFA Peace Prize to add to his 2025 one.
And maybe, just maybe, if he's really lucky, he might even get the Ronald McDonald Happy Meal Peace Prize as well.

I've heard it said that #Trump has no idea what his aims are for the Iran war. I disagree. I think the war has clear aims:
1. Move markets up and down in predictable ways to allow those with advance knowledge to make a fortune
2. Help his mate Putin by distracting the world's attention from Ukraine, boosting the oil price, and creating an excuse to relax sanctions on Russia
3. Distract from the #EpsteinFiles
Seems to me it's meeting its aims nicely.

I don't think the UK media have made nearly enough noise about the US Navy sinking an *unarmed* Iranian warship and then, in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions, leaving them to drown.
This is a heinous war crime which the media would be rightly up in arms about if any country that wasn't nominally an "ally" had done it.

I recently(ish) bought 2 things advertised as having 5-year warranties: a Braun shaver and a Vado shower pump.
The shaver failed after 2½ years, the shower pump failed after 5 years and a couple of weeks.
Braun said "sorry, the advert saying 5-year warranty was wrong, it's really only a 2-year warranty, you're on your own".
Vado said "Don't worry, we've recently increased the warranty to 6 years, we'll send an engineer next week".
Won't be buying Braun again.

They are claiming that the DSIT doesn't have any information about the costs of the programme, which, frankly, is suprising.
But if that's true, then I question how well they are able to manage their budget.
