Rereading your original post I see where I went wrong... Your were saying The #Oligarchs gutted voting rights, etc., etc. (not Schumer et al). I totally agree. And I'm with you. Organized #Dems/#DNC are still too close to big money and corporations. I generally don't like the Dem #leadership but I'm not wise enough to have strong feelings re who to support as Speaker and Senate leader. I fear the law of unintended consequences! I'm trusting there will be a good faith effort to figure this out.

Wikipedia on the #WWW starts with this sentance...

So the publication date of the book (1992) is interesting. Not sure what "open to the public" means in this context?! 🤷♂️
I think I became aware of the #Web about 1994. We brought up a web server in about 1996 ("WebStar" on an old Mac we had lying around).
Since I was at a US University, we were using #Gopher in our library around that time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gopher_(protocol)
I don't know the history of #browser design... but back in the early days a "Browser" was a much broader concept--a sort of information crossroads tool. They supported many different protocols or "schemes" (the http: part of the address). Mailto: was one that just jumped to your email client, but others were real, but often limited interfaces. The ones I remember are: gopher:, ftp:, telnet:, and even some sort of database access! These were not extensions. They came built-in as part of the browser itself! It was a brave new world back then! 🙂

I've had a similar experience. Très bien! 👏
Starting to see results comparable with #Lightroom.
I had trouble moving settings and labels, but this is mostly Adobe's fault I think. The sidecar files from my old stand alone LR were either missing or did not contain all the data.
I've moved on with #RapidRaw and am very happy with it!
PS: I hope you have the little translate button that I did. My French is very weak.
