  1. @kingrat I have #Scientologist relatives & part of their religion is meeting communication partners at their level, on a more general premise of motivated learner interest. #StudySkills

  2. @dydt #TheoryY low authority management & a flexible schedule.

I take commitments seriously & am hard on myself.

  3. @markrvickers A level of #unemployment is systematically built-in, but in this #globalist era it's been below historic norms (our Chinese factory, etc).

I was taught as high as 6% is the non-inflationary target, but we have seen it lower with low rates for long stints explaining the frothy markets people get used to.

The prevailing ethic is if inflation is controlled, keep rates low to grow the economy & don't worry about historic unemployment norms.

Beyond fiscal control, productivity needs to rise to keep #inflation & rates in check.

A dramatic drop in demand inflation control becomes less important.

#Fascism as a definition isn't just for the right. #TheDemocraticParty in California is fascistic.

It's that old saying, as close as you get to "absolute power corrupts absolutely" the more it is true.

#Partisanship especially in this era isn't truth or virtue.

  5. @Drand Interesting I don't really think about the subject from a #Psychology angle, but if I did research would focus on what it takes for an individual to transcend partisan bias for a meta/neutral fact-based perspective.

For me it was expensive classrooms & having the same problems as the side opposite I supported or opposition from both.

  6. Best not to use #Google search if you can. #Startpage culls it as #Qwant Bing. The relatively new #Brave search is not in the analysis.

"In terms of security, #DuckDuckGo, #Ecosia, #Qwant, #Xayn, and #Startpage lead the way, as these search engines either anonymize user data or do not store it in the first place."
