#Qwant & #Ecosia are both #Microsoft syndicates who work in contradiction to their claimed values and purpose. They are both privacy-hostile and treat the Tor community with hostility. Ecosia fails to grasp how working with #Amazon and Microsoft contradicts the environmental cause. It’s really bad news. There is no doubt these wolves in sheep’s clothes will fool the EU into endorsement.

Frage an die DiDay-Community: ich nutze als Test parallel Qwant und Ecosia. Gerade Qwant wird mit Datenschutz beworben, aber mein Fairphone 6 blockt all diese Tracker. Bei Ecosia nur einen. Wie ist Qwant in der Hinsicht zu bewerten? Ich kenne mich da nicht gut aus. Danke vorab!

@c_th1 warum sind #qwant und #ecosia nicht auf deiner Liste?

For the past few days, I’ve been trying to use #Qwant as my search engine. I say "trying" because there are increasingly excessive checks to verify that I’m human. These rely on external services that happen to be on ad-blocker blacklists, so they fail to run.

I’ll probably end up going back to #Startpage.

It’s a real shame how the #Internet is deteriorating and being crippled by #greed.

Seit einigen Tagen versuche ich #Qwant als Suchmaschine zu nutzen. "Versuche" deshalb, weil dort immer exzessivere Prüfungen stattfinden, ob ich ein Mensch bin. Dafür werden aber externe Dienste beansprucht, die sich wiederum in Sperrlisten von Werbe-Blockern befinden, somit nicht ausgeführt werden.

Werde ich wohl zu #Startpage zurückkehren.

Wirklich schade, wie das #Internet verkommt und von der #Gier verkrüppelt wird.

De mon coté murena.qwant.com échoue très souvent au chargement de page. Vous avez la même chose ?
