   I'm trying to identify a naval cannon here in England. The barrel has an overall length of 36" and a bore of 3". It has no crest in front of the touch hole.
   Does anyone know where and when a relatively small cannon like this would have been used?

   In #Brighton this morning a young gull was discovered with a broken leg. The patient was then transported to #BirdAid at #Hailsham.

   This gull is much improved since last September. It had very poor coordination.

   Attempts to release it last year resulted in short lived flights. It's been overwintered in the Sussex CentrePark for gulls, (My greenhouse).

   It's a lot better, walking, eating, preening and taking short flights. Despite having avian UVB lamps it has moulted.

   What can help its feathers grow? When is the best time of year to release it?

    Heute #einfachraus #SchlossLandsberg #Ratingen #Kettwig (extra kein "Essen-" vorangestellt 😉).

    Neues Objektiv wollte ausgeführt werden. Fotos werden wohl beim Kopieren als .jpg auf's Telefon unscharf🤔

    Die Wanderwege ringsum sind imho als "rustikal" zu bezeichnen. Also echte Wanderwege und nix geteerte Fläche mit nem Schild am Baum. Denke man hätte noch 1-2 Stündchen dranhängen können.

    Schloss Hugenpoet ist vis a vis und 5 Fussminuten vom Parkplatz entfernt.
