My son asked me about folk #tales and it brought back a memory from my childhood. A "Sak-sok" Tatar folk legend. It tells the story of two twins. They were cursed by their mother, after which they turned into mythical birds and were doomed to eternal separation.
I listened the original language version, and it just really fucked me up.

The #telegraf CPU was hitting 100% every time the VPN to InfluxDB dropped. Very annoying (it triggers other alerts).
It turned out that it was mostly debug logging and constant retry attempts. It's gonna be fine now.

It was more difficult to move from #Slim (abandoned) to another manager. I was only able to get #greetd to work.

#firejail is good. I always thought of it as a filesystem sandbox, but it's a network tool too. Just used it to create a network jail for #Steam, forcing it to use only my Wi-Fi.

I woke up today and #linode sent me a warning that the CPU was hitting the ceiling.
On the server, #telegraf is saying it can't send metrics and the queue is full (not sure why it started pressuring the CPU in this case). #Twingate dropped out and the connector cannot authorize due to an expired token. Reissuing does not help. Of course, the issue was a time zone drift. How was your morning?

I've been under the impression all along that with #cookiecutter or #copier you can template anything. But today I'm faced with the fact that without additional scripting I can't create several copies of the same folder under different names.
