I woke up today and #linode sent me a warning that the CPU was hitting the ceiling.
On the server, #telegraf is saying it can't send metrics and the queue is full (not sure why it started pressuring the CPU in this case). #Twingate dropped out and the connector cannot authorize due to an expired token. Reissuing does not help. Of course, the issue was a time zone drift. How was your morning? -

Sometimes it is really difficult to create Terraform modules because some features require a paid subscription. In the case of GitLab, I will probably create a self-managed instance, but I need to get creative with Twingate. 🤔

#Twingate angeguckt.
- Tokens werden auf dem Server gehalten, damit müsste für Mitarbeiter ein Zugriff auf den lokalen Service möglich sein (und externe Angreifer)
- Keine OpenSource Relays, sondern nur Cloud … damit ist Punkt 1 noch einfacher
- App ist voller #Tracking
- Server und Unternehmenssitz nicht in der EUDie Technik dahinter aber nett: #TLS Tunnnel mit Certificate Pinning, QUIC und STUN-Relay-Servern.
Wer macht das jetzt als #FOSS Projekt?

That's a shitty ad for a shitty, #proprietary solution that doesn't even work for most people and depends on a #SingleVendor / #SingleProvider approach, which makes it incompatible with the #security and #dataprotection requirements I've to abide EVERYWHERE.
#Twingate is not a #VPN-Killer, it's not even a good replacement for #AnyDesk in that regard...
