Mors kodlarına lise yıllarımdan beri merâkım var. İlgimin nasıl başladığını hatırlamıyorum. Fakat o yıllarda bir çok konu hakkında bilgi edindiğim TÜBİTAK'ın Bilim Teknik Dergisinden şüpheleniyorum
Mors ve özellikle "Maniple" ile ilgili bir sürü YouTube kanalına aboneyim
Fakat nedense çok pahalı oldukları için hâlâ bir maniple alamadım ve daha da kötüsü Mors kodunu hâlâ öğrenemedim

Der #Tag_der_Morsezeichen wird zu ehren des #US-#amerikansichen #Erfinders Samuel Finley Breese #Morse (*1791-†1872) an seinem #Geburtstag gefeiert. Morse entwickelte ab 1837 den ersten brauchbaren #Morseapparat und zusammen mit seinem #Angestellten Alfred #Vail die #Morsezeichen. Damit schuf Morse die Voraussetzungen für die #elektrische #Telegrafie.

I've been looking at my old #AmateurRadio logbooks.
I'm astonished at how much morse I used to do between 1984 & 1986 - mostly contests but still! I find CW terrifying now, but perhaps I should see if I've still got what it takes.
The amount of local activity on 2m and 10m (yes local) was a surprise to me looking back as well. I can't raise anyone on 144MHz these days!
I'm trying to work out what rig I was using on 4m (70MHz) at the time as well - it could have been a crystal controlled Pye box.

I finally gave it a try on the matrix, to have an idea of the potential.It's fun, but I'm not convince yet. I feel it's missing something.
Maybe it's because I don't know morse code :)

Yesterday was the first day, I successfully finished lesson 40/40 on #lcwo
Having been subscribed to the platform since 2008, it took me quite a while to finish the basic learning of #morse code.
Thanks to @DJ5CW for #lcwo, my CW advisor Lutz DM6EE and my peers in the CW academy foundation class Jan/Feb '26.
Now let's keep on learning to get ready for more QSOs. -
I want a heated paddle.
I have a beautiful Begali HST single paddle #morse key, but the metal the paddle is made from sucks the heat from my fingers.
I have Raynaud's syndrome and if any part of either hand touches something cold then all of both hands cçnññ go white and cold and spasm.
Gloves sort of work but not really.
