Trying to use {rhub} for the first time in a while after moving my @rOpenSci packages over to @Codeberg . Ran into some odd errors that were not clear as to what was wrong. Finally figured out, I already mirror from Codeberg to GitHub and the infrastructure is there, it's just not in the Git config origins. So this did the trick,

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I'm resurrecting (trying for a third time) {getCRUCLdata}. I'm not even sure that anyone uses it, but since I still have it sitting around, I've overhauled it and rewritten it to remove any caching, using {rappdirs} got me in trouble the first time, using R's own user cache directory got me in trouble the second time. So twice archived, now going back with no caching aside from in-session via {httr2}. https://codeberg.org/ropensci/getCRUCLdata #RStats #ClimateData

Spent some more time this weekend with my arf, R.nvim and Kitty setup. I have a more solid grasp of some of the issues and have refined the config files. Will update my blog post once I verify it works on both machines. Had it working at home, didn't at work, but now think I have a cross-machine fix in place. Will test at home after work.

I’ve not seen much if anything other than some of my posts that have been taken with or mention the awesome mood.camera app, https://www.mood.camera. If you have an iPhone and like photography, it’s worth a 👀. Alex Fox, the developer is a top notch bloke who was so responsive when I filed bugs with the app. I’ve used the app for a few years now and sometime after I started using it, he added the ability to make your own presets like FujiFilm recipes. There are communities on Instagram, Reddit and Discord for the app but I’d love to be able to interact with other users here and share presets as I am not “on” any of those platforms.
