Is today's weather unusual? This is something I ask frequently, but I don't have a good way of answering it. I can easily find the average and record temperatures, but that doesn't tell me too much. I am looking for a measure of how today's weather values compare to the expected distribution. It could be as simple as the average and standard deviation. Do you know of any tools that have this kind of information?
