Maybe the seas have grown saltier, or new materials, or Star Trek’s black hole physics for each step deck plates (the least realistic part of generic #scifi?)
Maybe it’s lighter than air and can also fly when needed? Because space is easy? 🚀
Where’s it gonna dock? They’d have to make new charts for something like that. It could hardly go anywhere normal ships could go 🗺️

There are several genres of “gangster #accordion” from around the world that I steer clear of on @accordionnoir radio 🪗 📻
Some great music but I don’t fancy promoting death threat vendettas or dancing over murders or victims of tragedies
Also some sectarian/political/nationalist traditions that I’m uncomfortable with
