  1.   Street Fighters Ryu and Ken reunite when Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament. As they face a hidden conspiracy, they must confront each other and their past-or face destruction.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮ ✮

In my opinion this is a reasonably faithful adaptation of the Street Fighter franchise. Full of the good type of fanservice and references. I was pleasantly surprised to see the animation sequences that filled in some back story for the main character's being mainly Ryu, Ken and to a lesser degree Chun Li.

  2. A brave girl and her friends must escape a kids television show.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

Buddy is one of the craziest films of the year, essentially imagining what Barney & Friends would look like if it were turned into a horror movie. As the film progresses, it becomes increasingly unhinged, building toward an absolute worst-case scenario. It's bloody, deranged, and ridiculous in the most entertaining way possible.

    🍿 👀

  3. Bela, an 8-year-old girl living in a home with marital problems, confronts a sinister entity which comes out of her closet. The presence, whom she calls "Other Mommy," becomes increasingly threatening to her and her family.

  4. It presents a new anthology in which music and sound become a source of terror.

    Review ⭐⭐½ ᯓ ✮✮ ½

I love these movies. You know what you're getting: found footage anthologies built around a theme.

    🍿 👀

  5. The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity's savior before the disaster he's unleashed destroys everything.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ½ ᯓ ½

Digger is a movie that wants to talk about a lot of things and, somehow, manages to survive most of its own excesses. Its satire on power, oil, denialism, and information control works best when the absurd starts to feel a little too close to reality.

    🍿 👀

  6. Fed up with their lives, barely eking by in small-town Arkansas, a stripper with dreams and her Army vet husband decide to rob the strip club that employs her.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

It's like Pulp Fiction and Pineapple Express had a baby. This movie ticked lots of boxes: funny, great action, and wild twists. The comedy is sharp, featuring hilarious references to Covid and the War on Terror and the state of society. If you love chaotic, laugh-out-loud thrillers, this is an absolute must-watch film.

    🍿 👀

  7. Three friends go on a spa weekend that descends into chaos when their trainwreck friend joins, leading to hilarious consequences.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮ ✮

Spa Weekend was actually a pretty funny movie, and I found it genuinely entertaining. It does what it needs to do by building a story around a group of women having a good time and creating a fun, unique experience. The cast works well together, and the chemistry helps keep the comedy moving.

    🍿 👀

  8. Follows a hapless courier tasked with delivering a package to a remote hospital. He soon finds himself caught in the middle of an outbreak and must fight through hordes of mutated creatures to survive.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

    This is one entertaining movie!
I liked it from the very start. The pacing is excellent, and the situations our main character finds himself in, gets worse and worse.
There is quite a lot of humor here, mainly because of Austin Abrahms. I didnt mind it, I love a horror comedy, and this is almost that.

    🍿 👀

  9. In 2004, an ad director faces a turbulent Christmas weekend. In 2026, a filmmaker turns her story into a screenplay, blurring the lines between reality, fiction, and the people closest to him.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ½ ᯓ ½ ✮

It's not one of Pedro Almodóvar's best works, but despite its flawed emotional connection, Almodóvar still brings an interesting and character study dynamic about family relations and people.

    🍿 👀

  10. Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, discovers she can travel into The Further, where she possesses an ability to bring what lives there back to the real world.

    Review ⭐⭐ ½ ᯓ ⭐⭐ ½ ✮

I think Insidious: Out of the Further still has enough of what made this franchise work in the first place: a creepy atmosphere, strong sound design, and a few genuinely tense horror moments.
The scares work, the atmosphere is still there, and The Further remains an interesting setting, but the story occasionally feels crowded and messy. It is entertaining enough as a horror film, just not the most original or tightly written entry in the series.

  11. A man acquires an Artificially Intelligent android to cope with the loss of his recently deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, he inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮✮

I've seen a lot of movies like these in my time, but this one definitely has some new twists to it that made it stand out! And to be honest I think now prefer this one over M3GAN or Subservience now. The actress playing the android definitely has amazing talent I'll give her that, I hope to see her in more future projects like this one.

    🍿 👀

  12.   A forgotten Peter Parker lives alone as a full-time Spider-Man until mounting pressure triggers a dangerous change and a powerful new enemy emerges.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

I've seen enough Spiderman. In the comics, TV series, and movies, but this Spiderman is something new. We get to see Peter Parker from a different perspective, and this film makes it very clear that Peter Parker is the protagonist, which is what makes Spiderman special, not the other way around...

    🍿 👀

  13. Two teenage boys must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most - each other.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

Very glad I watched this! There were a few moments of absolute nail biting tension, a few jump scares, and a few gorey scenes. Very solid movie overall.

    🍿 👀

  14. After the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Calypso along the way.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

An absolute masterpiece. Brilliant storytelling, flawless performances, breathtaking cinematography, and exceptional direction. Every scene was captivating from start to finish.

    🍿 👀

  15. After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws. As one by one they transform into deadites, she comes to discover that the vows she took in life - survive even in death.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

"If you've never seen an Evil Dead movie before, you might want to practice before seeing this one." -Bruce Campbell

Faces, torsos, and limbs are slashed, bludgeoned, severed, and impaled with a consistency that should be numbing. Yet the proceedings are never wearisome, both because Vanicek concocts innovative means of ending characters' lives and because he routinely interjects brief instances of levity into the action.

One of the most bonkers third acts of any Evil Dead movie. 🎬

    🍿 👀

  16. Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, joins forces with an unlikely companion on an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice when an unexpected adversary strikes too close to home.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

Supergirl is the second installment in the DCU. I really liked it. It was really fun.
It is faces paced with really good action scene. Milly and Jason shine in their roles and I really loved them. The visuals are good and the trailers did not do this film justice.

    🍿 👀

  17. If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮✮

There are traces of "Close Encounters," "The X-Files," "Minority Report" in Emily Blunt's empathetic powers and even M. Night's "Signs" in yet another search for extraterrestrial life among us. But it's done with consummate skill and energy that belies Spielberg's age and that's what summer calls for.

    🍿 👀

  18. Hana, a lovelorn medical student, becomes terrorized by a sinister force after taking part in an obscure weight loss craze: eating human ashes.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮✮

How far would you go just to finally feel right inside your own body. That is exactly where Saccharine starts for me and that is also where the film is strongest. Not only as body horror, but as something that turns shame, self-image, and that need to change yourself into something much uglier.

    🍿 👀

  19.   Two friends find themselves caught up in mayhem involving killers, monsters and supernatural creatures once again.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

Scary Movie 6 is exactly the kind of comedy the world needed right now. It brings back the outrageous, no-limits humor that made the franchise iconic and proves that parody movies still have a place in cinemas. The filmmakers didn't hold back, taking shots at everything and everyone with confidence. It's ridiculous, unapologetic, and one of the funniest theater experiences I've had in years.

    🍿 👀

  20. After a therapist's patient disappears into a dimension beyond reality, she must venture into the unknown to save him.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮ ✮

Overall, it's a good movie. The cinematography is brilliant, the visual effects are solid, and the atmosphere is legendary-it truly makes you feel the horror. The story starts off really well, but unfortunately, it feels like something is missing, and you can't quite put your finger on it. Maybe it's because the runtime was too short? However, the film is still good overall and definitely worth a watch.

    🍿 👀

  21. After breaking the mysterious "One Wish Willow" to win his crush's heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½

Obsession has a pretty simple premise, but it's executed really well. The movie knows what kind of creepy, slightly ridiculous horror story it is, and it leans into that instead of trying to hide it.

The best part is easily the lead actress. A lot of the scares come from her performance alone. You feel bad for her, but you also know something is off, and she creates so much creepiness just through her acting.

    🍿 👀

  22. A woman, employed as a website content moderator, comes across a series of violent videos reproducing death scenes from a film.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

I'm not sure how many people are actually familiar with the original Faces of Death, but you should know that Daniel Goldhaber's new film acts less like an actual remake, and more like a meta commentary on remakes in general. Which is to say that you don't need to be familiar with the original movie in order to enjoy this new one.

    🍿 👀

  23. With an aspiration to become a journalist, Andy, a smart but sensible young graduate, travels to New York. She starts working as an assistant to one of the city's biggest high fashion magazine editors, the cynical Miranda Priestly.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

This is a glossy and mostly entertaining film, if a little shallow in terms of story and depth. However, there is a well-written script, that sometimes borders toward predictability, and nice camera-work, not to mention the fashionable costumes.

    🍿 👀

  24. In the bubble of Silicon Valley, the unorthodox relationship between a wannabe tech titan and his therapist illustrate the Valley's madness and failings.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

If forced to describe The Audacity on the spot, I'd say it's HBO's Silicon Valley meets The Sopranos. While the tech angle is entertaining to me, the real draw is the chemistry between Billy Magnussen (the tech CEO) and Sarah Goldberg (his therapist). There is also a very solid supporting cast including Zach Galifianakis, Simon Helberg, and many others. It's a compelling universe of characters that I can't wait to see more of.

  25. The true story of Amanda Ogle (Byrne), a homeless Seattle woman who fought her way out of tow-company hell to reclaim her life and car after receiving a tow bill for $21,634.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

Enjoyed this one a lot. Great cast. Was surprised to see Demi Lovato in this. She is really an underrated actress. Hopefully this movie will get some good promo, as it deserves to be seen widely!

    🍿 👀

  26. The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

Lee Cronin's The Mummy takes a different approach to a familiar monster, leaning fully into horror rather than action or adventure. It is arguably one of the strongest attempts at a true horror-focused take on the character.

    🍿 👀

  27. After surviving one deadly game, Grace and her sister Faith must now outrun four rival families competing for a powerful throne - winner takes all.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮✮

I enjoyed watching the sequel to the first movie and is pretty fun. The story itself is basically similar to the first movie with Grace have to again survive against a bunch of people until dawn. This time it's elite rivals and her sister is now a part of this.

    🍿 👀

  28. A year after their father's funeral, three brothers travel across India by train in an attempt to bond with each other.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

Given the trademark quirkiness yet insight into many profound truths of human behaviour one would expect from director Wes Anderson, it should come as no surprise that his latest film, The Darjeeling Limited, demonstrates the majority of these traits with particular flair and distinction, arguably Anderson's strongest work to date.

    🍿 👀

  29. A 19-year-old criminal, Tommy, is kidnapped and forced into a rehabilitation process by a dysfunctional couple, Chris and Kathryn, who try to make him a "good boy." Tommy must find a way to escape.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮

I really was immersed in this movie and was hooked from the very start. It was well paced and acted brilliantly by all concerned. Graham is always satisfying to watch and one of the UK's greatest actors. I loved the slow story telling and found it gripping and full of surprises. I did not want it to end.

    🍿 👀

  30. A woman takes a job as a housekeeper in a NYC high-rise, unaware of the building's history of disappearances. She soon realizes the community is shrouded in mystery.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐½ ᯓ ½ ✮

They Will Kill You is exactly the kind of chaotic, blood-soaked ride I was hoping for and then some.
Going in, I expected something in the lane of Ready or Not or Boy Kills World, but what I got was a wild hybrid with a heavy dose of grindhouse splatter that fully commits to its insanity.

  31. #coldstorage When a highly dangerous fungus escapes from a secret laboratory, a former bioterrorism agent is called back into action. Alongside two young employees, he must confront an invisible and out-of-control threat.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ᯓ ✮✮

Absolutely amazing movie. In my opinion, it was very well executed for its genre, and I could see it becoming a cult classic for sure.

  32. #LurkerMovie A retail employee infiltrates the inner circle of an artist on the verge of stardom. As he gets closer to the budding music star, access and proximity become a matter of life and death.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐ ½ ᯓ ✮✮

The film is solid. Beautiful shots of Los Angeles, clean script that doesn't over explain and creates an intriguing narrative without relying heavily on dialogue. The actors were all fantastic and it has a rawness to it. The character development takes its time and the lead is fleshed out well.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐★★

Gallner will get his big due in the near future. The film works as long as it's focused on Gallner's protagonist, who struggles with anger issues, and how everyone surrounding him is affected by it.

  37. #TheLongWalk  A group of teenage boys compete in an annual contest known as "The Long Walk," where they must maintain a certain walking speed or get shot.

    Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐★

This film is a relentless descent into tension, sorrow, and flat-out misery. To me, it had the feeling of an old war movie, with young men marching, putting one foot in front of the other, and a lot of uncertainty about what lies ahead of them. All the necessary ingredients-pride, wrath, greed, bravado, and even kindness-are showcased by a cast of outstanding young actors.
