Het probleem is dat #LongCovid nooit in Nederland geregistreerd werd. Pas eind juni 2024 opende het @rivm een #PostCovid onderzoeksplatform. Het #PostCovidNetwerkNederland van #ZonMW doet onderzoek naar de gezondheid van LC-patiënten d.m.v. 3-maandelijkse vragenlijsten. Iedereen kan zich aanmelden.

Ik ken haar nog uit mijn ziekenhuistijd. In de laatste hoedanigheid heeft ze van de Vereniging tegen de Kwakzalverij de Meester Kackadorisprijs 2014 gekregen. Dat is de prijs voor kwakzalver van het jaar. Waarom? ZonMW had dit jaar in een rapport geadviseerd om meer onderzoek te doen naar wat het nogal eufemist..

CWTS, NWO and ZonMw felt increasingly uneasy about use of closed data for monitoring open science. Great to see that NWO and ZonMw have now switched to open data. Open data enables them to compile open access analytics themselves, without being dependent on external providers. This shows the power of open data in democratizing the research analytics landscape!

We hope to inspire others to follow this example and collectively strive for improved quality and completeness of open metadata"
