This short video is I think particularly telling of the situation in #Gaza today. Because the #YellowLine is moving ever inward, people are being packed closer and closer together.
This #Israeli missile was targeted at a medicine store of a hospital-- itself an illegal target. But because there is no space, tents which offer no protection from flying shrapnel and debris were packed close around it.
This is a #WarCrime.

That is equivalent to >½ the length of the strip, which is 40 km (25 mi) long & 11 km (7 mi) wide, & home to >2M #Palestinians.
When presented with the satellite images, #Israel’s military confirmed to AP it has built a physical barrier in the area of the so-called #YellowLine, the boundary to which Israeli troops withdrew under the Oct ceasefire deal with #Hamas. The line was envisioned in the #US backed agreement as a temporary division of the territory pending a fuller Israeli withdrawal.

I know that a friend had borrowed heavily to build a house; the house is now destroyed by #Israel and the land it stood on lost behind the #YellowLine. The debt remains.
It is hard to see how Gaza can be rebuilt once the war is over without a great deal of debt forgiveness.
