Mientras el mundo celebra el Día Internacional de la Mujer, nosotras — las mujeres de Gaza — estamos ante fuegos de leña cocinando para nuestros hijos. Nuestras manos están cansadas de lavar cacharros con humo y hollín y nuestros corazones están invadidos por el miedo y la fatiga.

While the world celebrates International Women's Day, we — the women of Gaza — stand in front of wood fires cooking for our children. Our hands are exhausted from washing pots covered with smoke and soot, and our hearts are heavy with fear and fatigue.
