I fucking hate it that online shopping websites listen to keystrokes instead of letting the browser do that.

The Home key should take the cursor to the start of the field; the End key to the end of the field. CTRL-U on Linux should clear the field. Fucksake.

It seems to be the month for UI changes to websites. A simple task of paying a couple of bills has led to lots of hunting around, switching to "classic" view, the actual transactions, and filing bug reports.

What's with the rubbish kiosks they have in subway now? The interface is high latency and has bad touch detection. My wife wasn't able to order her normal sub because she couldn't de-select some of the ingredients.

They could be better for people who can't or don't want to give their order to the person behind the counter, but they're worse in every way in my use-case.

A colour-in-the-dots paper form would better than these dumb things. It's electronic voting all over again.

i dont mind js though... when im not spending the entire morning trying to get "nightwatch" to use "storybook" which apparently cant handle an import of an object i need to reuse across a few tests... its very productive.
