A while back, I found an image that converts to WebP really badly, but MozJPEG could tune nicely. Today I added AVIF examples, and:
• default AVIF compression is as bad
• tuning can restore fidelity
• comparable fidelity at very good compression ratesLooking pretty good for AVIF!
