Here we go, completed the first section of mosaic on Stephen West's Mosaic Musings shawl. Finally!

Spent most of the week knitting, tearing out, knitting again, switching needles, switching projects, more knitting and unknitting. So POW! Finally hitting on all cylinders.

Not sure about proceeding with the #Geogradient shawl MKAL, I'm having a hard time getting back in the swing of things. We'll see!

Continuing gratitude @ConsumableJoy and #FallFinishAlomg... Had an unexpectedly crappy week (war, anyone?), but today summoned fortitude 2 sort thru patterns, edit queue.

Then went thru yarn, took first hard look - what works w what, checked weights etc. Made sure all zip-bagged.

After whole Stephen West Geogradient MKAL/ swatstika uproar, i had to take a mini-break from that, and decided to take on a soothing new project, a tri-color shawl i've coveted for a year. Welp. Turns out it's a cool design, but one of the most poorly written patterns EVER.SO bad! After a day of trial and error - really, a whole day! - finally found answers in another knitter's notes. Jesus Mary and Joseph!

Here is Stephen West SOBBING in this new post, because of the uproar people created around the just-launched #Geogradient MKAL.

Some people saw a swastika in the pattern. TBH I still can't make it out, but it did launch a HUMONGEOUS online discussion about it, and where our personal responsibility lies. Plus #Gaza.
