* Windows 3.1 (16bit) in #wabi (top right)All of this was supported by at least one vendor at the time!
And you can actually copy/paste between all of them, and it just works!

#WABI hieß das Ding, mit dessen Hilfe Windows 3.x oder Windows für Workgroups unter Linux verwendet werden konnte.
Plötzlich war mir dee Name wieder präsent. Laut Wikipedia von Caldera für Linux auf den Markt gebracht und wohl ziemlich oft verkauft.
Ganz anders umgesetzt als das WinOS/2 - das setzte auf ein unter OS/2 laufendes DOS auf, WABI hingegen kam ohne DOS als Unterbau aus (konnte aber über Umwege ein DOS starten).
Nach WABI kam #Win4Lin für Windows 9x unter Linux. Da hatte ich damals auch eine Lizenz.
