Pare che parecchie istanze invidious e piped abbiano problemi causati da Google che cerca di bloccare i servizi alternativi a YouTube che bloccano le pubblicità.
Nell'attesa di una soluzione viewtube continua a funzionare regolarmente:

Da stamattina si stanno riscontrando problemi su https://i.devol.it, la nostra istanza invidious non funziona più perchè google sta di nuovo tentando di bloccare tutte le istanze invidious visto che nessuna sta funzionando in questo momento.
Pubblicheremo aggiornamenti sullo stato di invidious, nel frattempo l'unico frontend youtube ancora funzionante è viewtube:

On the front of alternative #selfhosted #youtube frontends, I gave #piped another chance. The performance and interface are better than #viewtube. I got it running, despite the vague and incomplete documentation. So I took to myself to complete redo the whole thing in a way that ir works with both #docker and #podman. I'm tackling documentation now, when it's done, I'll send @kavin a PR.

Seem like the developers of #piped alternative frontend for Youtube are not very interested in #selfhosting. The installation is obnoxious and failed miserably for me. So I installed #viewtube instead: https://viewtube.wiki/
It was up and running in 5 minutes.

Well I stumbled across https://dev.viewtube.io which looks like (is simply is) a #YouTube frontend like #Invidious but haven't seen this layout and look before. Looks really slick and neat and more "eye-candy" than the usual Invidious instances.
So is this something new or just a themed Invidious instance?
