Im heutigen Video schauen wir uns zwei spannende #EVniculus Adapter an: den #CCS auf #CHAdeMO Adapter und den #V2L #CHAdeMO Adapter.
Der #CCS-Adapter kann ältere #CHAdeMO-Geräte wieder interessant machen, weil sie damit an modernen #CCS-Ladepunkten nutzbar werden.

The #V2L charging is working well. The batteries can’t be connected to the Home Power Panel and be charged from AC. There is a dongle to use 12VDC from the car, and we will be buying those now 😂

Oh well. We just had a power outage in #OceanShores #WA #GHPUD and @czds and I had put the Anker Home Power Panel “Time of Use” settings back to our normal “charge after midnight” and then run our home off the batteries during the day down to 20%. I’ll disconnect one of the batteries and charge it from our #Ioniq5 using #V2L

A couple of weeks ago I got a small #Bose amp for my 10th work anniversary. Now I’m hunting for speakers on local classifieds and wondered how to test them. Then I realised I could power the amp via the #V2L adaptor on the #Renault5. That led to a bigger idea: a boot-mounted home stereo (up to 1300W). Static only, charge flap open… but still.

That's cool. I have a very similar adapter for my EV car, but it goes the other way, with a male type-2 connector going to the car and a female European 240V "Schuko" outlet. Useful if you want to charge from someone's V2L equipped car on the road. The modern equivalent of siphoning, I guess.

V2L scheint ja echt wild zu sein. Hier gibt es alles zwischen 20 Euro bei AliExpress und 500 Euro bei Hyundai. Wenn man dann mal in die E-Technik-Foren reinguckt, stellt sich raus, dass da gar keine Elektronik drin ist, sondern nur ein Widerstand zwischen PE und PP/CP. WTF?

Sehr kreative Idee für #V2L - leider gibt's keine Angaben zum Hersteller unter https://tlyard.com/products/tesla-v2l-discharge-adapter-2kw-4kw-for-tesla-3-y-x-s-portable-ev-power-outlet-with-eu-uk-us-standard-socket und das Handbuch betitelt das Gerät als "MC-618M-CCS2-1 European Standard 4kw Discharge integrated machine", wofür es keine sinnvollen Such-Treffer gibt.Webseite spricht von 400/800V, Handbuch von max. 450V!
Ich wüsste zu gern, was im Gerät drin ist. Vermutlich ein kleiner Controller für #V2G ISO 15118-2 und ein Wechselrichter.

Nach und nach kommt man drauf, wie ein #eAuto auch zur Sicherung von #kritischerInfrastruktur einsetzbar ist.
Hauptsache #DieselDieter und Blöder Markus reden #Elektromobilität immer noch schlecht. 🤬 Aber irgendwann werden die es auch erkennen. 🤷

@Niall Thanks - this is great. We are going to have solar installed by a professional. And we will go with an inverter that is sold, certified and supported in NZ.
I am buying a cell kit that replaces the existing cells in our #NissanLeaf and a rack kit that I can put the old cells into to create a house battery.
Ideally the house inverter/controller would treat this recycled battery the same that it would a car that had #V2L, putting a standard interface between them.

Wir unterstützen in diesem Jahr das #Agrikulturfestival in #Freiburg als Mobilitätspartner. Die Logistik rund um das Festival läuft mit unserem #Carsharing und heute wird ein Teil der Stromversorgung der Marktstände über einen MG5 mit Ladeadapter ( #V2L ) bereitgestellt!

Grid power was restored at 1.22 am (17 hours 43 minutes after it went out) but I was in bed by then so our car continued to supply power to our fridge-freezer, WiFi, etc. overnight. By the time I disconnected everything from the V2L adaptor it had been providing power for us for 24 hours and used a total of 7.2 kWh in that time, leaving the car battery at 91%.
The V2L adaptor goes back into its storage spot in the sub-basement of the boot, and I've decided to keep one of the 30 metre extension cords and the power board box in the frunk just in case I need them when on the road.

So far so good. The scheduled power outage started about 7:40 am, but I was able to quickly restore power to the fridge-freezer, the NBN box & WiFi router, the lizard's heat lamp and lighting, and my working from home monitor, laptop, etc.
I have the Vehicle-to-Load adaptor plugged into the car, two extra heavy duty 30 metre long extension cables plugged onto that inside a weatherproof power board box, and a mess of additional power boards and extension cords inside the house. Fortunately, apart from the fridge which is directly connected to the V2L adaptor, it's all very low power so having lots of long cables will be OK.
Being able to work from home pretty much as I normally do on Wednesdays is nice, but not having to worry about everything in the freezer defrosting is really, really nice.
