Pro-Tipp: Unter dem "Teilen" Icon, kann man die #umap Daten im GPX Format herunterladen. Diese Datei dann direkt wieder bei dem #BikeRouter ( https://bikerouter.de ) im Hamburger-Menü bei "Datei Importieren", "Track laden" in die Karte einfügen und dann munter drauf los routen. So mache ich das auch 😀

Und dann happy #cycling !

Auch in #Ulm hat am 1. Mai wieder das #Stadtradeln begonnen. Genau wie letztes Jahr auch, gibt es wieder eine "virtuelle Stempeljagd", die als Anregung zum Radeln genutzt werden kann. Die Infos habe ich für den besseren Überblick in eine #umap Karte mit den relevanten Informationen gepackt:

Wir organisieren dieses Jahr einen Dorfflohmarkt und ich soll den Flyer gestalten.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit mit Openstreetmap eine Karte für die einzelnen Stände im Dorf zu erstellen, die online verfügbar ist damit sie aktuell gehalten werden und zB über einen QR Code abgerufen werden kann?

Ich würde gerne für meine Einrichtung eine Geländekarte erstellen. Sie soll die Möglichkeit bieten, Büros und andere Orte einzutragen, diese dann auszuwählen und den Weg angesagt/gezeigt zu bekommen. Toll wäre natürlich wenn sie ähnlich wie #Organic Maps/#OSM funktionieren würde. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, ob es einen entsprechenden Editor gibt? Kann man das evt. mit #UMap machen? Wurde die Umap-Software kaputt-geupdatet?
Version 3.7.3 auf dem .fr- Server. Ich kann keine Punkte mehr anlegen und verheddere mich in einem Wirrwarr aus Ebenen, Gruppen und nicht klickbaren Menüpunkten.

Nachdem ich mich auf meinem aktuellen #OpenSource-Trip von #Komoot verabschiedet habe, kann ich sagen, dass sich die Verwendung verschiedener Tools, die zusammen Komoot ersetzen, deutlich besser anfühlt, eben weil man selber Herr über die Daten bleibt.
- Routenplanung in #bikerouterde
- Speichern der Routen in der eigenen #Nextcloud
- Visualisierung in #umap/#openstreetmap
- Navi in #Osmand

Jede einzelne Applikation ist ersetzbar und sie alle arbeiten über Standards zusammen.

I'm working on a #uMap of all my #Sketchfab models (http://u.osmfr.org/m/1380431/) which is taking for-e-ver. I wish it was an in-built feature on Sketchfab, if people wanted to add coordinates to their #photogrammetry scans. I guess I'm spoiled from #LinkedOpenData in the #Wikiverse and #OpenStreetMap.

Bonjour, dans une carte, j'ai récupéré des données sur les CeGiDD qui étaient en ligne. Mais je n'arrive pas à afficher la description que j'ai pourtant complétée.
Le paramétrage de l'épingle est déterminé par les données d'origine.

Quelqu'un saurait m'expliquer comment changer ça ? 🙏

#S_T_Gill project bug fix (links to maps). Artworks with ampersand in the title were not linking to #uMap (object name). Replaced ampersand with "and" in webpage html and in uMap content.

There we go!

1. overpass #openstreetmap query to get hotels within 5 miles of the stretch of interstate between 2 cities ~200 mi apart

2. upload that to #umap (https://umap.openstreetmap.de)

3. #python using #selenium runs two #web browsers

a. Hotel Browser is showing umap #map of hotels

b. Poke Browser is showing http://pogomap.info

c. very simple script reads the URL from the Hotel Browser, parses the coordinates+zoom and pastes it into the URL of the Pokemon Browser

(There's probably a more general way to do this, possibly even without selenium or python. I picked some where I could just scrape the url bar.)

Then it was just a matter of scrolling around the hotels and seeing if there's pokestops that seem to be within distance. The answer is mostly "no" but we did get a few hits.

Pretty fun and I learned a lot more about overpass queries and selenium.

The maths is the brain-child of Carlos Roca - I certainly didn't expect to publish a paper with these equations! Basically, Cross Entropy looks at the relative position of each each to all other cells, allowing you to test for differences in the "shape" of the #tSNE or #UMAP. 5/6
