@jimkats @InsertUser In #JOSM, you would just select the whole polygon and press "g" to detach it (thus effectively solving the issue as IIUC, as after that single keypress it would be just as if the original mapper had never attached that landuse to existing ways).

Of course you'd still need to correct the geometry of the landuses if it is incorrect, but you'd have anyway even if user did not attach it to existing OSM elements)

I just did my first "massive" #OSM edit:

73 nodes had imprecise tags, so I first contacted the original author, got the go from them that they agreed my proposed tags were more precise, so I loaded all the nodes in #JOSM, manually created a custom preset and applied it to modify the tags of all nodes at once.

Having never used JOSM before this was fun.

It's sad though that JOSM uses such an antiquated UI framework that doesn't play well with Wayland/Flatpaks.

Den Nachmittag genutzt und mal wieder mit Josm bei #hotosm mitgemappt.

Nach längerer Pause mussten viele Shortcuts nachgelesen werden. Nach einiger Zeit geht es schon wieder recht fluffig.

Dieses Mal viele Gebäude korrigiert und neue gezeichnet.

Macht noch Spaß, also mehr mappem 😋

Vielleicht lokal auch mehr Objekte der Barrierefreiheit.

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich hier gepostet, dass in Sachsen-Anhalt noch so viele Hausnummern auf der OSM fehlen, und dass das Eintragen der Hausnummern den Rettungsdienst unterstützt, weil wir dann weniger durch die Dörfer irren.

Seitdem hat sich einiges getan, die Kurve der eingetragenen Adressen zeigt steil nach oben! 3051 neu eingetragene Adresse in Sachsen-Anhalt in 9 Tagen, das macht mich froh.

I just figured out #josm an desktop editor of #openStreetMap I prefer the online version but I'll take a look

When I decide to move, my priority will definitely be to find the area where my new dwelling is NOT mapped in OpenStreetMap.

That way, I'll have a plenty of fun mapping out my new undermapped neighborhood in all the details with #JOSM, #Vespucci and #StreetComplete / #SCEE 😄

The worst offender is probably reusable_packaging:*=*. Several orthogonal schemes mashed into two tags, is it a deposit/return/pfand scheme? bring and fill your own yourself? bring and get the assistant to fill? drop off & collect filled by the staff later in the day? drop off container & pick up goods now in a container the staff already had pre-filled? They all exist, and each shop is different

I feel a preset for #JOSM and #Vespucci coming on, but it'll need some careful wording.
