Facebook is in the mix mostly very little (aside from Messenger). Reddit occasionally (some parts of it are mostly manageably messageboardy: especially fandoms). Instagram now and then.

And that's sorta it on apps (well, #TwoDots, which is pretty addictive, and Marco Polo, but that's just for personal chat).

I think what I'm looking for is more of what's rewardingly messageboardy, and less of what Twitter has become: basically, just everybody's tedious troll subroutines on blast.
