Slopbots are turbocapital. I was just looking at how apparently each "token" costs a certain amount of money and higher "effort settings" cost more but a new version has it cost less on some settings I guess. Why would someone feel like it's a good idea to spend money on... having a computer think for you?
We all know how the #gigEconomy has eroded workers rights the same way as #TurboCapitalism has preyed on the vulnerable in global #inequality. This video by More Perfect Union shows how #AI companies are extending this gig work into the knowledge work domain. Technology CAN bring democratisation but only if built in a #NonExploitative manner. We need to solve this quickly and be aware that using AI tools is currently as exploitative as the gig economy or fast fashion.

I kinda dont like it that people always talk about capitalism in the current stage as "turbocapitalism", "hypercapitalism" or "neofeudalism". Because this implies that the current stage is different from "normal" capitalism. But it isnt. Its not a new form of capitalism. Its plain old capitalism. #neofeudalism #capitalism #communism #hypercapitalism #turbocapitalism

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Nowadays, any #neoliberal acolyte--in particular, if their native language is English--is most likely linked to what #EdwardLuttwak called #Turbocapitalism, which I think aptly describes the policies #JamesBuchanan's #VirginiaSchool propagates (calling it differently, though) and #Trumpism. (See my posts with the hashtag #Buchanan.)
