The free #IndieGame #TheTribe is difficult to assign to a specific genre. Judging by its interface, it appears to be a strategy game. The gradual optimization of moves also falls into this category. However, such a path is deterministic - i.e. reproducible - and thus contradicts the strategy game concept that it is mainly strategy and not a specific sequence of moves that wins the game.
