I've got A LOT of failed prints with my #creality #ender5 #3Dprinter. It #clogs very easily. I tought the #filament was wet, but a couple of hours ago it #clogged very badly and I had to completely #disassemble the #extruder, #hotend and even cut a little piece of #bowdentube... before doing all this work I looked at a video explaining how to do it and...
...I SAW it. The #fan. The f...ing extruder fan in the video was running from the moment the #printer was switched on. I have never seen mine running, I always tought it was temperature controlled or something... It was just #jammed 🤦♂️ Unfortunately the plastic was very tired by the heat, so a blade broke instantly while cleaning it.
It seems I have to wait for a #replacement part, but at least I found the problem. That's why the printer was SO #temperamental! -
I finished #assembling the #3Dprinter #cabinet, cut the holes for the #cables and placed it inside! I'm pretty happy with the result. I found a little 5w #led #spotlight laying in a drawer and saw I could cut an hole in the double top to install it almost flush and have the cable hidden. Very handy to check the #print progress, expecially considering my printer is VERY #temperamental... -
