It is well past time #WindsorON & #TecumsehON together started talking about #GanatchioTrail 2.0
The existing trail was a nice enough start, but beyond the long overdue need for maintenance the trail is lacking in too many basic facilities.
It's time for toilet facilities.
... for water bottle refill and cooling stations.
... for bike repair stations.
Every place the Trail encounters a street, a road, there should be, at the very least a Pedestrian First, Level Crossing.
There are far too few play areas for kids.
It is far too difficult to get to and from The Trail by Public Transit, or by bicycle, or on foot.
The Ganatchio Trail, is an example of exactly how "bare minimum" far too much of Windsor is
You deserve better than The Bare Minimum.
Write to your Mayor. Write to your City Councillors.

I had an absolutely amazing time, folking around at the Tecumseh Twilight event last night....
It's an amazing feeling, playing music you know they don't know, to people young and old, who are dancing, and clapping along, and smiling anyway
One of my new fans even made me an adorable original artwork while they were listening.... It is a gift I will treasure!
