We had an unplanned layover in #Seattle, but in about 8 or so hours we will have successfully moved, me, my wife, our two idiot cats, from #WindsorON #Canada #YQG to #Oahu #Hawaii #HNL
I just wanna get there, get home, and be done with all this moving house stuff.
Then, I can't wait to find my new local #BikeTooter peoples for fun and maybe a little light advocacy.

Finally!
After MONTHS of going back and forth with the #Ontario government, I have all the paperwork I need for this move!
August 28th, 2026 I'll move to be with my wife and our two cats, to #Oahu #HNL after decades of living in #WindsorON #YQG
Looking forward to connecting with other #BikeTooter s in #Hawaii especially for casual rides, pub crawls, and advocacy!
I can almost guarantee I'll be the only #Canadian #FolkSinger there!

I hate to tell ya #WindsorON #YQG and especially "Sandwich Town", but the Gordie Howe Bridge isn't going to save your BIA...
Vehicle traffic is going to be dumped straight onto EC Row or the 401. Few if any cars are going to go out of their way to end up on Sandwich Street.
And bikes? Ha! The cycling infrastructure on the Canadian Side is trash because the City decided not to invest a lousy couple hundred grand, and Sandwich Town's lame BIA didn't fight for it. What infrastructure there is takes cyclists away from Sandwich, away from Windsor all together. Amherstburg is going to see more cyclists than anywhere in Windsor, especially the west end.
You did this to yourselves, Ward 1, 2, and 3.....

We love our bike trailer. I especially love when I can bike my gear to summer patio music gigs! Few things feel as good as pedaling to a local patio, playing music for a few house 100% battery powered, and then pedaling home!
I wish someone like you would do a deep dive on the HipStar hiking trailer thing, especially when attached to a bike

My wife (and to a lesser extent I) has been working on The Gordie Howe Bridge from Windsor Ontario to Detroit Michigan, for years now, and it's set to open sometime in the next 90 days or so..... It is now the longest cable stayed bridge in North America.
It includes a seperated, shared path where #Pedestrians and #Cyclists will be able to cross, toll free!
