I have strong feelings in both the pro & con directions: the advent of a low-footprint method of #decentralized #food production powered with renewable energy would unquestionably change the terms of our tenure on Earth. But I’m shocked to see Monbiot, of all people, endorsing such a #technosolutionist perspective, something so far from the convivial practices of land stewardship he’s so often commended in the past. I suspect the devil is in the details of implementation, but that’s terrifying.
