Dont accept the words given to us from authorities. Always question their framing!

Stop saying that the fediverse is built up of instances. That is not how it feels like. It doesnt reflect the experience. And this form of technojargon alienates people and make them feel its more complicated than it is.Start at 6:00

Instead it is built up of societies. These societies are by default associating with other societies, but can choose to shun if it is deemed necessary.

What we need most of all right now is people who challenge #technojargon
I rarely see people who do this. Even in the "radical" #foss communities. In actuality, foss communities doesn't challenge anything, they embrace the established language. In #DigitalIssues there are no radicality.
